Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.'s new M154 regional highway medium truck tire
will be available this spring in size 295/75R22.5, with more sizes on the way.
"Future sizes include 285/75R24.5 in the summer, 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 (both in LRG and LRH) in the fall, and near the end of 2008, 265/75R22.5 and 245/75R22.5," say Toyo officials.
The Toyo M154 was created using the company's proprietary e-balance design technology that "focuses on a stiffer belt package, stiffer bead construction and optimization through computer simulation technology."
The tire contains a straight differential rib in the outer groove of its tread, a stone ejector groove in the center tread, an optimized casing profile to maintain a uniform tread radius during service, and other features.
