Pirelli & Cie SpA was preparing initial public offering of share for its Pirelli Tyre unit. However, the global offering was withdrawn on June 30 "due to the negative performance of markets."
Pirelli originally had set a maximum price at nine euros per share, but reportedly reduced that by 10% in an attempt to entice buyers.
