Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC has created a Web site devoted to the Bridgestone brand's participation in drifting events.
The site's address is www.bridgestonetire.com/drifting.
"The Bridgestone brand entered the 2006 Need for Speed Formula Drift competition (by) spotlighting its 'extreme performance' Potenza RE-01R tire," say BFNT officials.
The site contains information about the tire's sizes, plus a dealer locator, drifting news and other data.
"We are celebrating our first season as an official sponsor of teams in the Formula D series, and also marking our inaugural season as a presenting sponsor of the Formula Drift Series," says Phil Pacsi, executive director, consumer tire marketing, BFNT.
