Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd.'s board of directors promoted three executives at its recent board meeting.
The following changes in directorships will become effective upon approval of the company's shareholders at the General Meeting of Shareholders, to be held on June 29, 2006.
* Tooru Kobayashi, corporate officer, will become a director as well.
* Seiji Takai, general manager of the company's Aerospace Division, and Yuji Goto, general manager of TB Tire Product Planning Dept. (and in charge of TB Tire Business), were promoted to corporate officers.
* Naozumi Furukawa, CEO and president of ZEON Corp., was promoted to corporate auditor.
