Miami, Fla.-based ZTI Tires Inc. is getting ready to roll out its Zeetex line of passenger, high performance and light truck tires.

The tires are being built in China with equipment that was manufactured in Holland, says Shahid Hussain, ZTI Tires regional manager. They will be available in July.

Zeetex passenger tires will range in size from 12 to 16 inches, while its high performance tires will range in size from 17 to 20 inches.

Zeetex light truck tires will extend to 16 inches in diameter.

"We're trying to get into medium truck tires but have not found a suitable factory," says Hussain.

ZTI Tires is a division of Zafco Trading LLC, which is based in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. Zafco has 12 offices worldwide and annual sales of $200 million.

ZTI Tires has a warehouse in Miami, a warehouse in Philadelphia, Pa., and two warehouses in Charleston, S.C.

The company also distributes Linglong high performance tires in the U.S., says Hussain.
