Cooper dealerships raise money for children's charity

April 19, 2006

Three Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. dealerships have raised $3,000 for the Children's Miracle Network.

The dealerships are Daniel's Tire and Performance Plus (both based in California) and Desert Rat Truck Centers, which is headquartered in Arizona, according to Cooper officials.

They raised the money during a half-time shoot-out at a Pac-10 conference basketball game.

"Cooper Tire is proud of our dealers' donation as a symbol of their commitment to supporting the communities in which they live and work.

"The three dealers also partnered with Cooper to sponsor an interactive basketball skills clinic for dozens of kids from the Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Children's Miracle Network."
