Bethlehem, Pa.-based Service Tire Truck Centers (STTC) is Michelin Retread Technologies Inc.'s newest franchisee.
"The three new retread plants covered by this agreement will be operational during the summer months of this year," say Michelin officials, "and will bring the total number of (Michelin Retread Technologies) plants to 66 in North America."
STTC currently produces 810 medium truck and 30 light truck tire retreads per day out of three shops, making it the 16th largest retreader in the United States, according to Modern Tire Dealer's Top 100 U.S. Retreaders List.
