Hennessy introduces Ammco 4000B-SP brake lathe

March 30, 2006

Hennessy Industries' has introduced the Ammco 4000B-SP brake lathe which, using single-speed spindle and feed rates, efficiently cuts rotors in one pass. Plus positive rake tool bits create precision-machined surfaces for a high-quality finish.

The 4000B-SP brake lathe converts from drums to rotors in less than 30 seconds. The twin cutter tool simultaneously resurfaces both sides of a rotor and cuts to one-thousandth of an inch to meet the demands of today’s more sensitive vehicles.

It has a 44-pound spindle, extra large bronze bearings with a constant oil feed and large drive gear that provide durability and help reduce wear.
