Lavel, Quebec-based President Tire has increased its number of franchise locations to more than 240.
Last year, President Tire General Manager (now majority owner) Denis Monette told moderntiredealer.com that the franchise group wanted to add at least 20 new franchisees in 2005.
President Tire's franchise outlets are located throughout Canada.
The company's President private brand enjoys 3.5% of the Canadian passenger replacement tire market, according to Modern Tire Dealer research, on a par with brands like Firestone, Toyo, Uniroyal and Dayton.
President Tire also operates 17 company-owned outlets.
