Uniontown, Pa.-based Craft Tire Co. has added equipment and employees to its facilities, says Craft Tire CEO Mark Goodes.

"Business is fantastic. Both of our plants are full." (Craft Tire has an OTR tire retread and repair facility in Uniontown and another one in Greenville, Ohio.)

"We're working on improving our turnaround time on retreads and repairs," says Goodes.

Craft Tire founder and owner Allen Craft died this past December. Since then, a board of directors has been directing the 31-year-old company. The board consists of five members, including Goodes and Craft's widow and Craft Tire President, Tess Craft.

"Allen had a plan before his death. He had a board of directors picked out."
