The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting nominations for service on its 2008-2009 board of directors. Directors serve three-year terms and may be re-elected to serve two extra three-year terms.
"Any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the Nominating Committee in accordance with the TIA bylaws,” says Paul Hyatt, TIA's Nominating Committee chairman and immediate past president. "Self-nominations are also welcome."
Deadline for nominations is April 2, 2008. To nominate a candidate, complete and return a TIA board of directors nomination form to the association's office in Bowie, Md.
The nomination form is located on the home page of TIA’s Web site, www.tireindustry.org, under "Hot News." A form also can be obtained by calling TIA 's office at (800) 876-8372, ext. 109 or by e-mailing [email protected].
