The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced that its Performance Tires & Wheels section of the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show (SEMA) will now be called Tires, Wheels & Equipment, or TWE, for short.

"This name change is a result of feedback from exhibitors and attendees for a name that more closely fits the products that are being displayed in this popular section of the trade show," says Roy Littlefield, TIA's executive vice president.

The 2008 SEMA Show will be held November 3-7 at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Convention Center.

In addition, TIA's headquarters hotel for the show will move from Caesars Palace to the new Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
