Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels has hired Carl Robinson to the new position of wheel product manager.
Robinson was most recently director of motorsports for Weld Wheel Industries Inc. He has more than 20 years experience in wheel and tire design/distribution and is the former president of Race Wheel Enterprises Inc.
"Carl will play an important new role in helping us to expand our rapidly growing wheel business," says Ken Warner, vice president of sales and marketing. "We are entering into new market segments, including forged aluminum drag wheels, forged street rod wheels, plus additional new styles for our light truck line, and we need a professional like Carl to manage both our existing products and to help us bring new products to market."
