The Dunlop Signature all-season touring tire was introduced today at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s dealer meeting in Nashville, Tenn.
It is designed for standard and luxury passenger cars and is available in 28 popular sizes and three speed ratings.
A Multi Pitch Tread Design incorporates varied sizes of tread blocks arranged in a diverse pattern to create sound frequencies that cancel each other, helping to create a quiet ride, the company notes.
A stiff high-performance all-season tread compound helps deliver optimum tire performance at highway speeds. Improved bead seat technology helps deliver a tighter fit between the tire and wheel for a noticeably better ride.
Signature also features JointLess Band technology that helps maintain the tire’s smooth performance at highway speeds, uniformity and long tread wear. VersaLoad Technology optimizes the tire footprint on the roadway for consistent handling, ride comfort and tread wear under various loading conditions.
