The recent Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. drift event in Long Beach, Calif., featured two Formula Drift drivers and a special guest -- disc jockey Steve Aoki.
The electro house musician and producer played host to Nitto Facebook Contest winners Darren Bryce, Lillianna Sarmiento and others during his “Birthday Bash” concert on Nov. 21, which included a meet-and-greet with him.
As grand prize winner, Bryce was given private drift lessons from Formula Drift drivers Matt Powers and Chelsea DeNofa.
Later that evening, Nitto hosted Steve Aoki’s sold-out Birthday Bash Concert at the Shrine Expo in Los Angeles. More than 5,000 music and dance lovers celebrated Aoki’s special day in what Nitto says was a "high-energy performance.'
Nitto and Aoki joined forces earlier this year. Aoki also visited Nitto's booth at the 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas.
