Don't... forget... to... vote. This is the big one

Nov. 5, 2012

Hopefully by the end of the day on Tuesday, Nov. 6, the 2012 Presidential Election will be over. And as an Ohioan, it can't happen soon enough.

I say this because Ohio is a swing state, and we have been inundated with political advertising for and against President Barack Obama and presidential candidate Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts.

Their views on small business differ in many respects, so depending on whether you are happy with the direction our country is headed or want a change, you will be happy or sad by Wednesday.

But don't let that -- or long lines -- keep you from voting. It is a privilage and a responsibility to vote, not a right.

I did my duty during early voting on Sunday, Nov. 4. You can read about it in my latest blog, "As Ohio goes, so goes the election -- and your business."

I also have included a link to an editorial outlining the candidates' views on small business.

Remember, we are all in this together. And every vote counts. -- Bob Ulrich
