Wheel Consultants Inc., publishers of The Ultimate Wheel & Tire Plus Sizing Guide, has launched the new Tire Pressure Computer at SEMA booth #48101.
The new software program calculates the required air pressure for plus-sized fitments based on gross axle weight ratings. Afterwards, a report can be printed along with a label sticker for the vehicle’s door.
The Ultimate Wheel & Tire Plus Sizing Guide provides tire and wheel application solutions for OE and plus sizes for current and vintage vehicles. It is available in both print and digital formats.
Wheel Consultants founder and president Joe Findeis has partnered with tire forensic scientist Dr. John Daws to bring the software to the industry. Daws spoke at the Specialty Equipment Market Association’s (SEMA) Wheel & Tire Council meeting on Oct. 29, 2012.
Findeis says that another special feature of the Plus Sizing Guide is the unique reverse lookup function. Technicians can perform reverse lookups three different ways: by tire size, bolt pattern and brand. The Guide, which is iPad-compatible, also features a plus/minus calculator.
