For Pirelli Tire North America Inc., Oct. 21, 2012, turned out to be two days in one.
First, the company gave the press a sneak preview of its new Cinturato P7 All Season Plus replacement tire. It will be available beginning Jan. 1, 2013.
To read about the new tire, click here. The tire also will be displayed at the 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nev., from Oct. 30 through Nov. 2.
Later in the day, Pirelli helped host the grand opening of the Circuit of the Americas, the Formula One track being built in Austin, Texas. The track will host its first United States Grand Prix race Nov. 16-18, 2012.
