DT Tire Distributors, a family owned wholesale tire and wheel distributor based in Edmonton, Alberta, recently announced four management changes.
1. Darrell Sept, vice president of sales for DT Tire Distributors, has added operations to his responsibilities.
"In the short period of time Darrell has been with the organization he has made a significant impact on our business through his leadership and vision," says President Doug Buhler.
"Being responsible for both sales and operations ensures the balance needed between all operating segments is in place. To reflect this change, his title is now vice president, sales & operations."
2. The company also has hired Paul Hyshka as director sales. Hyshka, who will manage the sales team and key accounts, will report directly to Sept.
3. Tanis Radford has moved into the position of sales assistant. Radford's core responsibility will be to support Paul and the sales team as their inside go-to person centralizing their point of contact, allowing for the team to work more efficiently and on a proactive basis. She will report to Hyshka.
4. Barry Sommert has been appointed Inside sales manager. He will be responsible for managing and driving the company's inside sales team and will report directly to Sept.
"As our company grows and expands the need for the right people in the right position has never been more evident," says Buhler. "These moves address our current customer needs and position us well for the future."
