Love's Travel Stop opens in South Hill, Va.

Love’s Travel Stops reports it has opened another travel stop, its 295th, in South Hill, Va., at Interstate 85, Exit 15.

The company invested approximately $7.5 million in the new travel stop, which includes 100 truck parking spaces, two on-site restaurants and a Love’s Truck Tire Care center which carries an extensive selection of tires and offers a variety of tire maintenance services.

Founded in 1964 by Tom Love, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla., and remains entirely family-owned and operated.

In addition to its 295 travel stops, it has 150 Love’s Truck Tire Care centers in 39 states.

Love’s approximate growth rate is 20 stores per year. The company is currently ranked No. 7 on Forbes Magazine’s annual listing of America’s Largest Private Companies.
