Tire labeling, TPMS to be hot topics at Brityrex

Sept. 5, 2012

The organizers of the three-day Brityrex International trade show say the event will bring together thousands of exhibitors, senior executives, industry bodies and visitors. Brityrex takes place Oct. 9-11, 2012 at EventCity, Manchester, United Kingdom.

In addition to an emphasis on tire labeling legislation and TPMS, the show promises to help tire industry professionals to do business and share information in a dedicated, trade-only environment.

As the bi-annual focal point of the UK tire and equipment sector, the show’s principal sponsor, the UK’s National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA), says the industry should take the opportunity to get involved:

“A visit to Brityrex is a must for anyone working in, or thinking of getting involved in the tire industry. The show will be a major gathering point for the industry, especially with the impending legislation on tire labeling and TPMS, which will be covered in detail through the free Tyretalk seminars,” says NTDA director Richard Edy.

The exhibition draws exhibitors internationally, and dozens from fast-emerging markets, particularly China and India, will be on display. There will also be hundreds of overseas visitors representing tire and equipment buyers from the global industry.

“Brityrex is the UK’s only specialist tire and equipment exhibition and a day in Manchester will be time very well spent meeting new suppliers and getting up to speed with the pressing issues of the day,” says Paul Farrant, managing director of Brityrex organizer, ECI International. “It’s a low-cost, high-return business investment that we know can pay real dividends for everyone involved in the tire trade.”
