Love's: 3 locations in 3 states in 3 weeks
Love’s Travel Stops will open three new locations in three different states in the next three weeks.
Love’s opened its newest location in Willis, Texas, at Interstate 45, Exit 95 on Thursday, Aug. 16. The company will open in Sioux City, Iowa, on Aug. 17 and Jasper, Fla., on Aug. 24. The three locations
With the additions, the company will have more than 290 locations and 133 Love’s Truck Tire Care centers in 39 states.
The new location in Willis includes more than 70 truck parking spaces, on-site Subway and Wendy’s restaurants, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center, RFID cardless fueling technology and more to keep professional drivers moving on the road.
(Love’s recently completed its first successful live customer transaction using RFID cardless fueling technology and Comdata Corp.'s financial processing software at its Pauls Valley, Okla., location. The company says more than 100 of its locations will have cardless fueling technology available for professional drivers by the end of August; the entire Love’s network of travel stops will have it available in September.)
All of Love’s new locations are built from the ground up to provide new travel stops for professional drivers and motorists. The company invests approximately $7.5 million in each new travel stop, which are all built with:
* Love’s Truck Tire Care centers,
* RFID cardless fueling technology,
* bulk DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) at all diesel lanes (see photo), and
* on-site restaurants.
Professional truck drivers will receive double “I Love Rewards” loyalty points on purchases at all new locations for the first 30 days of operation.
“Our goal is to build more locations to serve professional drivers nationwide, and we will continue to seek out the best strategic areas to build new travel stops,” says Greg Love, president of Love’s Development Companies.
