Emin Ozkan has joined Goodyear Lastikleri TAS as managing director. His appointment will become effective July 30, 2012.
Ozkan will report to the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. subsidiary's board of directors.
“In his new role, Mr. Emin Ozkan will continue to further develop the Goodyear brand strength in our targeted market segments in Turkey, driving profitable and sustainable business growth," says Henry Johnson, the parent company's vice president of emerging markets EMEA and newly appointed board member. "He will lead the organization with an ongoing focus to improve operational excellence in all areas of the business.”
Ozkan joins Goodyear Lastikleri TAS with a strong track record and leadership experience gained through international assignments, as well as local assignments within Turkey. He started his career in finance and then moved into brand and general management roles with Procter & Gamble Co., where he had management responsibilities at national and regional levels in Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and India/Pakistan.
Since 2009, he has held the position of group vice president for the Chocolates Division at Yildiz Holding in Turkey.
