Omni United donates to breast cancer research

May 15, 2012

Omni United Pte. Ltd. has donated $250,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) as a result of its 2011 Radar Mobilizing Hope campaign.

The company also announced the national launch of its 2012 Radar Mobilizing Hope program, with this year's goal at $1,000.000.

Omni United will donate $1 per four Radar brand tires sold, with a committed minimum annual donation of $250,000 to help support the BCRF mission of achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime.

To lead the Mobilizing Hope campaign and increase public awareness for breast cancer, Omni United created the Ring of Hope signature pink sidewall Radar tire, which will be available for sale starting Sept. 30, 2012.

“The Ring of Hope is another, more visible way in which Omni and Radar tires are supporting BCRF, by raising both money and awareness in our communities,” says G.S Sareen, CEO and president of Omni United. “At Omni we believe in giving back to society. By partnering with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, we and our customers have an opportunity to make a difference.”

"The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is truly grateful to Omni United for this very generous donation," says Myra Biblowit, BCRF president. "The funds raised by the amazing Radar Mobilizing Hope program will fully fund one BCRF research project in the coming year and brings us all closer to living in a world without breast cancer. This is an amazing partnership and we are thrilled that Omni United will continue to support BCRF.”

Omni United was founded in Singapore in 2003 and offers  a complete range passenger, SUV, truck, bus, and farm tires through its four brands: Radar, Goodride, Roadlux and Corsa.
