Raybestos Brakes help Kyle Busch win at Richmond

April 30, 2012

Kyle Busch earned Joe Gibbs Racing and Raybestos Brakes & Chassis the team’s third season victory and its ninth win at Richmond… proving that JGR and Raybestos make an unbeatable team at the Virginia short track.

Busch used the final caution to his advantage at Saturday night's Capital City 400 at Richmond International Raceway. He streaked to his fourth consecutive Sprint Cup win at Richmond… marking more Cup wins at Richmond than any other active driver. This marks Busch’s ninth career short-track win in the Sprint Cup Series, ranking him third among active drivers, as he has won five of his last 13 short-track races. With the help of Raybestos brakes, Busch has earned 30 top-ten short track finishes.

Three out of the four top Cup points leaders run Raybestos brakes. The Raybestos racing brake package, used by NASCAR teams like Joe Gibbs Racing, combines ample stopping power with a considerable weight savings advantage on tracks like Richmond’s .75-mile oval track.

For reliable performance, all the Joe Gibbs Sprint Cup racecars are also equipped with Raybestos Racing ball joints and tie rods. The premium-quality chassis parts help fine-tune each car’s suspension setup for optimal grip and handling.
