Because of the expected increase in global demand for large radial OTR tires, two companies are taking production -- and competition -- to new heights.
Bridgestone Corp. (two) and Groupe Michelin (one) are building new plants. And they are expanding existing plants. The eventual result is that there will be more OTR tire supply than ever before.
But who is the leader in OTR tire production? Bridgestone implies it is, or at least will be, numero uno. Michelin comes out and says all other OTR tire manufacturers are fighting for the runner-up spot.
And wait until you hear what they have to say, either directly or indirectly, about each other!
