Conabelt USA, a distributor of engineered rubber products, has agreed to distribute industrial belts for ContiTech North America into Latin America.
As part of the agreement, Conabelt will concentrate on U.S. exporters for ContiTech, a division of Continental AG. The ContiTech Group consists of seven specialized operative business units.
Conabelt USA is owned Jose Rafael Rodriguez Sr., a native of Venezuela. The rubber industry veteran has 40 years’ experience in rubber products. Conabelt will be the sole outlet for ContiTech with Miami-based exporters.
“We are pleased to offer ContiTech’s complete line of industrial V-belts,” says Rodriguez. “Our location in southern Florida, and our full inventory of the most commonly used V-belts enables us to rapidly service most points in the Latin American and USA markets. Our partnership with ContiTech will help both of us to significantly increase our market presence in these areas.”
