Rent-A-Tire LP dba Rent-A-Weel has purchased eight stores in Florida and two stores in Georgia from Rent-A-Wheel of Florida.
"It gives us a launching pad to the Southeast and brings us one step closer to our plan of developing every major market from coast to coast," says Rent-A-Tire co-CEO John Bowlin.
“We have been very successful in the Southwest and will continue to expand there," says co-CEO Don Sabino. "However, to meet our goal of adding 20 new stores per year, we will look to new markets and explore more acquisitions."
Rent A Tire now has 58 rent-to-own stores. The company expects to add at least 12 more locations in 2008.
