Cooper will reveal 4Q results on Feb. 27

Did Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. feel the effects of the lockout at its tire plant in Findlay, Ohio, in the fourth quarter? Find out on Feb. 27, when Cooper says it will announce its 4Q and year-end 2011 financial results before the market opens.

Company management will discuss the financial results in a conference call beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time that same day.

Individuals can access a webcast of the conference call at the investor relations web page at www.coopertire.com. The site also will archive a replay of the conference call through March 3, 2012.

For the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2011, Cooper reported net income of $45 million on net sales of $2.88 billion, an income-to-sales ratio of 1.5%.

In 3Q 2011, Cooper posted net income $17 million on net sales of $1.05 billion.
