For the third consecutive year, Michelin North America Inc. has been recognized by "Aggregates Manager" for one if its commercial tires.
The Michelin XDR2 haul truck tire was named one of the publication’s “Top 25 Rollouts for 2011." The top 25 products "enrich the aggregates industry with innovation, productivity and greater competition," according to "Aggregates Manager" and Michelin.
The XDR2 haul truck tire offers up to 20% more tread life than its predecessor, the Michelin XDR. Introduced at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in March 2011, the XDR2 tire is available in five sizes: 27.00R49, 33.00R51, 37.00R57, 40.00R57 and 53/80R63.
Michelin also was honored with a Top 25 Rollout award in 2009 for the XHA2 loader tire and in 2010 for the X-Traction haul truck tire.
