No more assembly fees! says Countrywide

Jan. 12, 2012

As of Jan. 1, 2012, Countrywide Tire and Rubber will no longer charge customers an assembly fee on mounted tires and wheels. Previously, Countrywide outsourced assembly production resulting in higher assembly prices due to a small mounting fee for each unit produced.

In an effort to streamline assembly services and eliminate assembly fees, Countrywide has invested in a specialized mounting department. The company forecasts "a positive long-term return on investment of assembling specialty tires and wheels in-house, that will be passed onto customers now and into the future."

The addition of the assembly department has improved Countrywide’s ability to lower costs for customers, improve production speed and offer more than 100 different combinations of mounted specialty tires -- all in the name of improving customer service.

"We have already experienced positive results, proving there’s a demand in the market for mounted specialty tires," says President Chad Isaacs. "In the last year, we have seen a 45% increase in the category."

Countywide sees a steady increase in assembly demands in the future as well.
