BADA adds to Tape-A-Weight line

Jan. 11, 2012

Hennessy Industries’ BADA division has launched two new styles of Tape-A-Weight products which offer low-profile alternatives for adhesive weight-balancing jobs where brake caliper clearance is of concern.

“The 7325-FET and 7325-FE were designed to offer a low-profile alternative to BADA’s 7025 Series, while also offering a shorter segment length than the 7026 Series – BADA’s original low-profile steel Tape-A-Weight line – which will result in more one-spin balances,” says Kevin Keefe, Hennessy Industries vice president of marketing.

The 7325-FET steel Tape-A-Weight product is 25 low-profile strips of quarter-ounce segments featuring Tape-on-Top to aid with installation. The 7325-FE steel Tape-A-Weight product is 25 low-profile strips of quarter-ounce segments with no Tape-on-Top.

Both new Tape-A-Weight styles are made in BADA’s Bowling Green, Ky., facility and feature BADA’s premium adhesive backing. Additionally, the new styles feature the same coating used on BADA’s steel clip weights, providing up to two and a half times the corrosion resistance of conventional coatings, says Hennessy.
