The Independent Tire Dealers Group LLC (ITDG) has formerly given notice to the Tire Alliance Groupe (TAG) that it is leaving. ITDG, one of the major shockholders in TAG, sent notice to CEO and President Dan Beach in accordance with TAG bylaws.
"We have reached that point in our company's history where this action is necessary to allow us to attain our growth and profitability objectives," says ITDG CEO and President Mike Cox.
"The Tire Alliance Groupe programs helped ITDG grow to what it is today: 110 members, 62 shareholders and 330 locations supported by 60-plus vendors and manufacturers. We also appreciate the relationships that have developed over the years with other TAG associates and anticipate those relationships to continue as we move forward."
