Mahle's New Scan Tool Speeds Diagnosis

Mahle Service Solutions' new TechPro diagnostic scan tool displays results within seconds. The vehicle communication interface (VCI) and software can be used with a technician's current desktop, laptop or tablet, making it unnecessary to buy or lease extra hardware. It is designed as a subscription and software-based model for lower costs instead of a large investment in hardware. Features include J-2534 pass-thru capability for reflashing and reprogramming. Other functions include cylinder balance tests, compression testing, key relearn and misfire graphing. The TechPro tool will be available in 2015. A pre-loaded tablet is available upon request for an additional cost.
