Yokohama Tire Corp.’s new Geolandar M/T G003 features aggressive sidewall styling, Geo-Shield technology and a special triple-polymer compound.
Introduced in July 2017, the M/T G003 is initially available in 37 sizes, ranging from 15- to 20-inch rim diameters.
The company says the new Geo-Shield construction incorporates multiple sidewall plies, steel belts, a full nylon cap and a high turn-up carcass to create a stronger tire that provides strength and protection, even in the harshest off-road conditions.
The longer-lasting tread is the result of a new, high-density compound and a wider, flatter profile. A triple-polymer tread compound combined with optimized sipes and an ideal block to void ratio provides outstanding grip and significantly shorter stopping distances on wet roads. The advanced variable pitch tread contributes to a quieter ride on the road.
