Vipal Rubber Corp. has named Frederico Schmidt general manager of its European operations. He previously was a regional business manager in Vipal’s United States operations.
Schmidt began his career in the company’s headquarters in Brazil 15 years ago. He served as technical coordinator as well as regional business manager for the North American and Caribbean markets before being named to his new role.
Vipal supplies approximately 90 countries on all continents, with Europe, Latin America and the United States as its main markets.
In addition to three plants in Brazil, Vipal has distribution centers in Germany, England, Slovenia and Spain. Its Spanish center is also its European headquarters. The company has branches and distribution centers in Argentina, Australia, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and the United States (with centers in Florida, Virginia and California). The Vipal Overseas office is dedicated to the markets in Africa and Asia.
