Federal-Mogul Motorparts is expanding its premium Wagner brand replacement brake rotor line featuring E-Shield protective coating technology to more than 450 part numbers, or approximately 95% of target market coverage.
The company says its E-Shield technology prevents unsightly corrosion and related complaints commonly associated with uncoated parts. Each premium rotor is packaged in a special Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) bag to help prevent environmental contamination and eliminate the need for additional surface prep prior to installation.
In addition, when necessary, Wagner premium brake rotors feature precision mill balance technology to prevent common performance issues caused by improper balance.
