Cooper RM871 Available on Wabash Trailers

Cooper Tire & Ribber Co. reports its Roadmaster RM871(EM) tires are now available as an OE option on Wabash National Corp. semi-trailers in North America. The RM871(EM) is now available on all Wabash dry freight and refrigerated van models. This includes Wabash's Transcraft and Benson brand platform trailers. The RM871(EM) is Smart-Way-verified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and is designed with Cooper's Energy Max fuel efficient casing. Other features include a low rolling resistance tread compound, a low heat build-up base compound, and high tensile steel belt construction. In addition, the long haul trailer tire has wide shoulder ribs to resist the side scrubbing typically seen in trailer positions, according to the company.
