Car Care Council Offers Website Content

Sept. 9, 2020

The Car Care Council is recommending four website content updates in advance of Fall Car Care Month, which kicks off in October.

1. Add a Fall Car Care Month digital banner to your website. Banners can be downloaded at no charge from the Car Care Council’s website at  www.carcare.org/industry-participants/web-banners.

2. Add a link to sign up for a free custom service schedule and e-mail service at www.carcare.org/car-care-service-schedules. Shops also can also download the general service schedule in both English and Spanish.

3. Download free educational handouts and flyers from  www.carcare.org/handouts-And-flyers. “The files are printer-ready and present important auto care information in a straight-forward, common-sense way that makes vehicle service and repair understandable,” say Car Care Council officials.

4. Link to www.carcare.org/car-care-guide to view the organization’s digital Car Care Guide. “Visitors may also order a free, printed copy of the 80-page guide for their glove compartment.”

The Car Care Council also has a variety of free car care images available for download at www.flickr.com/carcarecouncil. These can be used on websites, social media platforms and other digital communications.

“Updating a website can be fast and easy if you have access to the right tools and information,”says Nathan Perrine, executive director, Car Care Council.
