Hamaton Automotive Technology Co. Ltd. has established its North American headquarters in Wixom, Mich. Hamaton Inc. will provide technical, logistics, and customer support to the North American market for its China-based parent company.
Based in the Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, Hamaton Automotive Technology is a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and valve manufacturer.
The company established a European division, Hamaton Ltd., in 2015. The U.S. division will be the company’s North American TPMS technical center and a sales and distribution platform for Hamaton products. Enri Osmani has been named general manager of the North American division.
The company says the new U.S. location with its own warehouse and logistics will ensure much shorter lead times for customers. Vehicle testing and evaluation will also be carried out at the Wixom location, helping in the development of products adhering to U.S. requirements. In addition, the new location enables Hamaton to offer field support and training.
