Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (BATO) will increase prices of its Firestone-brand truck and bus radial tires on Nov. 1.
Bridgestone says the average increase across the Firestone TBR portfolio with be 5%, but some tire prices will increase by up to 8%.
"The price changes reflect current market conditions, including rising production and transportation costs," the company says.
All Firestone TBR tires shipped on or after Nov. 1 will reflect the increase.
Bridgestone's commercial sales team is contacting customers "to provide more detailed information."
