Nissan North America has picked the Falken Ziex ZE001 all-season tire to be an original equipment option for the redesigned 2021 Nissan Rogue crossover.
“Once again, we’re very proud to have been selected as a trusted tire supplier for Nissan’s ever-popular crossover, the Rogue,” says David Colletti, Falken’s vice president, OE, technical service and quality assurance.
“We know the Rogue is an important vehicle to Nissan, and we believe our Ziex ZE001 all-season tire is the perfect fit for both the crossover and the needs of the Rogue’s drivers.”
The Ziex ZE001 A/S boasts four circumferential grooves “that effectively evacuate water and significantly enhance hydroplane resistance and stability in wet conditions,” say officials from Sumitomo Rubber North America, which owns the Falken brand.
“Additionally, chamfered tread block corners support even wear throughout the tire’s life, and a solid center rib targets excellent handling response.
The new Rogue, available this fall, will offer the most standard safety technologies in its class, according to Nissan.
Sumitomo/Falken previously served as OE tire supplier to the 2016-2018 edition of the Rogue.
