Triangle Tire USA has launched a new OTR tire, the Triangle TB577A (E-4), in size 24.00R35. The tire is designed for rigid dump trucks.
The TB577A features an innovative tread pattern "that delivers outstanding traction, while also facilitating cooling for reduced heat generation," according to Triangle officials.
It also contains high-tensile steel cords for enhanced load carrying capacity and a high square ratio footprint for optimized stress distribution.
“The TB577A features an innovative tread design and is a great example of the company’s continuing commitment to the research and development of OTR tires,” says Stephen Reynolds, OTR Director for Triangle Tire USA.
“Professionals in the U.S. construction, aggregates and mining industries are often surprised to learn that Triangle is one of the world’s leading OTR tire producers," he adds. Triangle officials note that the company supplies OTR tires to heavy equipment manufacturers like Caterpillar, Doosan, Komatsu, Hitachi and Hyundai.
