Continental Tire the Americas LLC is recalling certain Continental, General and Barum brand tires.
"The affected tires were cured for too long during production," according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration officials, who add that Continental will notify vehicle owners who purchased the tires.
Tires will be inspected and will be replaced, as necessary, free of charge.
