Subaru Of America To Sponsor American Rally Association 2017 Championship

Nov. 7, 2016

The American Rally Association (ARA) is excited to announce Subaru of America as the first national level sponsor for the 2017 ARA National Championship.

As the inaugural year for ARA, the support and sponsorship of automotive industry icon Subaru of America is a key development for the new series. ARA, an organization of experienced volunteers, is proud to provide a series for Subaru to activate exposure from the national level down to small local markets around the country.

“We look forward to working with the ARA and local event organizers in providing an exciting fan experience for our enthusiasts, and supporting Subaru competitors at all levels in the sport,” stated Rob Weir, Subaru Motorsports Marketing Manager.

As a testament of the unyielding support Subaru has shown for stage rally in North America the 2017 ARA sponsorship includes support not only for the national series but also the events and competitors. This support will allow events to provide a better event for all competitors regardless of manufacturer.

“I’m proud that Subaru understands that ARA is the right direction for American stage rally” ARA President Tim O’Neil said. “We are happy that Subaru continues to see the value in stage rally and wants to help us make American rally great again”

Complementing the 2017 ARA National Championship Sponsorship, Subaru will continue with the unheard-of privateer contingency program for competitors entering ARA sanctioned events.  Details on that program can be found here: http://vtcar.com/rally/subaru-contingency-program/
