The new lineup of Armstrong-branded truck tires includes 10 patterns for the steer, driver, trailer and all-position applications.
The Armstrong display at the 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show featured the ASH tire, a premium steer axle tire for long-haul applications. It’s SmartWay verified, and Armstrong, a subsidiary of Zafco Trading LLC, says the tire offers excellent traction and sharp steering. The tire features a directional tread design.
De-coupling grooves and wider shoulder ribs help to minimize irregular wear, and siping offers two benefits: it helps reduce noise, and also aids steering.
