Schrader Training Platform Offers TPMS Education

April 16, 2021
Schrader TPMS Solutions has trained more than 1,200 people using its online tire pressure monitoring systems training course since the spring of 2020.

Schrader says 869 participants completed the free TPMS course and earned a digital certificate.

The company houses its TPMS training within Schrader Academy, which serves as a one-stop shop and includes free literature, videos and the e-training course.

Schrader Academy serves as a one-stop shop for all of Schrader’s TPMS training, including FREE training literature and videos as well as a TPMS e-Training course. The TPMS e-training course is a module-based lesson that covers topics like TPMS legislation, sensor types, installation best practices, programming, relearning and more. Users who complete all five modules with a score of 80% or higher receive a certificate of completion.

“It is great to see so many service professionals and students taking advantage of our free e-training portal. This training encompasses the basics of TPMS training and is geared towards anyone looking to master TPMS,” says Yanick Leduc, global technical training manager for Schrader TPMS Solutions. “Last year we received more than 2,200 registrations and we are excited to continue delivering this accessible and high-quality educational content directly from the leading OE manufacturer.”

Schrader also offered 12 customized virtual training sessions, where nearly 300 participants experienced live video training and had the opportunity to ask questions and consult with Schrader’s team of TPMS experts.

The latest addition to the platform is TPMS Tech Talk, an online portal where users can connect with Schrader’s TPMS experts. The topics discussed come from common TPMS challenges and the most frequently asked questions from Schrader’s technical hotline, including the importance of maintenance and tool software updates, the differences between programming and relearning, and TPMS legislation.
