Continental Tire the Americas LLC has named Andrew Davis market manager for its Continental Commercial Specialty Tires business in the United States and Canada.
In his new role, Davis will oversee Continental's material handling, ag and OTR tire business.
Davis most recently worked for Giti Tire (USA) Ltd. as product marketing manager, where he was responsible for new product development of the company's passenger and light truck tire lines.
Before that, he served as product manager at Nokian Tyres plc, eventually moving into Nokian's heavy tire unit, where he focused on OTR tire sales.
“I am excited to join the Continental Commercial Specialty Tires team,” says Davis. “I worked in the OTR tire sector for eight years and I am thrilled to have an opportunity to return to this segment of the tire industry. I look forward to working with the Continental CST team to continue our growth in the U.S. and Canadian markets.”
Davis will report directly to Matthew Futrelle, who now heads Continental Commercial Specialty Tires for the Americas.
