Hankook Tire America Corp. is voluntarily recalling a small batch of Kinergy GT H436 tires that were original equipment on the 2021-2022 Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain.
The 172 tires were made between Jan. 30, 2021, and Feb. 6, 2021.
Hankook has notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the details of the recall.
The tiremaker also says it is working with General Motors to notify customers and supply replacement tires.
The tires under recall "may experience noise, vibration and tread delamination," according to Hankook officials.
"No injuries have been reported to the company resulting from this condition."
