The U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) says it approves of the recently finalized, bipartisan infrastructure package. It includes provisions "that will help advance research and integration of technologies derived from scrap rubber."
Anne Forristall Like, the association's president and CEO, calls the deal "a much-needed victory for our nation" that "will allow us to make the necessary investments in our infrastructure and advance technologies in pavement design."
USTMA has been engaged in the infrastructure discussion since May when it sent a letter to Congress outlining its priorities.
